Elements
Fire, earth, air and water, three signs each. A chart with eight bodies in water and one in fire is distributed differently from one that spreads evenly -- that is a count, not a judgement.
Modalities
Cardinal, fixed and mutable, four signs each. They mark the beginning, middle and end of every season.
Ten bodies, not thirteen
