An Arabic part is a point that follows from three others. The Part of Fortune is Ascendant plus Moon minus Sun -- nothing stands there, it is a result.
For a daytime birth Fortune is calculated differently than for a birth at night: the formula reverses. Skipping that puts the point in the wrong place for half of all charts.
